Job Summary

Yasothera Yogarajah is seeking a reliable and caring Home Support Worker to provide household support, meal preparation, companionship, and assistance with the client's regular daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in water, such as during pool activities.
  • Assist in regular exercise, including walks.
  • Change non-sterile dressings.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Cook meals according to dietary needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work on site.
  • Reliable and responsible with good interpersonal skills.

Employment Conditions

  • Permanent, full-time employment.
  • 30–40 hours per week.
  • $22.00 per hour.
  • Work must be completed at the physical location.
  • Start as soon as possible.
