Become a critical part of Citi’s technology team as a Backend Java Developer in Mississauga. Leverage your Java expertise to enhance the cutting-edge Citi Velocity platform. As an Intermediate Backend Java Developer, you will engage in robust application systems analysis and programming within the FXLM technology group. Your role contributes significantly to server-side development and application implementation, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. You will also play a pivotal role in providing support and consultation to both users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct feasibility studies and IT planning tasks
• Monitor phases of development process and user support
• Explore complex problems and recommend solutions
• Develop security measures post-implementation
• Act as a mentor to junior analysts

Requirements:
• 5-8 years of experience in Java application development
• Strong skills in core Java, multi-threading, and SQL
• Experience managing successful project implementation
• Knowledge of Linux, Maven, and Spring framework
