Act as an Estimating Expert with BBA, a recognized leader in consulting engineering. Your role will encompass crucial estimating responsibilities that shape project success in the energy sector. BBA invites applications from seasoned estimators with 8-15 years of experience, primarily in the mining and heavy industries. This role demands solid involvement in multidisciplinary estimates and requires a strategic approach in managing project costs while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct estimates based on thorough material quantity take-offs
- Organize estimates according to cost coding frameworks
- Assess pricing strategies and present findings
- Develop project-specific estimation documentation
- Review junior estimators’ work for accuracy
- University degree or college diploma in relevant field
- Extensive experience in project estimation and cost control
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and estimation software
- Strong command of English and French for collaboration
- Familiarity with international project estimation preferred
