Seize the chance to work at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital as a Pediatric Hospitalist. This role is dedicated to the clinical and academic aspects of pediatric rehabilitation. Candidates must be Developmental Paediatricians, General Paediatricians, or Complex Care Physicians with a passion for supporting children and youth with disabilities. As an essential team member, you will manage an 80% clinical workload, focusing on inpatient rehabilitative care, while also conducting 20% academic work involving student training and quality initiatives. A strong client-centered approach is integral to this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Offer clinical care for inpatient rehabilitation needs
- Participate actively in student supervision
- Fulfill on-call and coverage commitments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
- Royal College certification in Paediatrics
- Eligibility for academic role at the University of Toronto
- Experience in pediatric care with disabilities recognized
- Effective communication skills
