My name is Marine Passchier, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and manufacturing positions across Québec.
I'm currently recruiting an Assembler-Fitter (CCQ - Welder) for a structural steel and metal fabrication company working on various construction sites throughout Greater Montréal and the North Shore.
As an Assembler-Fitter, you'll take part in assembling and installing steel and metal structures on site. Your precision, team spirit, and technical expertise will contribute directly to the quality and safety of each project.


Main responsibilities :
- Perform SMAW welding according to technical specs and CCQ standards.
- Assemble and install structural and ornamental metal components on site.
- Read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings.
- Prepare, align, and position parts before welding or assembly.
- Assist with lifting and erecting metal structures.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
- Valid CCQ cards (apprentice or journeyperson).
- Valid SMAW welder certificate.
- Experience in steel or metal fitting and assembly.
- Comfortable working at heights and on multiple job sites
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.


Working Conditions :
- Site-based schedule.
- Hourly wage : $29.32 - $48.87, based on current CCQ conventions.
