We are now seeking a 310T Mechanic for our Fleet department to join our growing team. Our services encompass full-service Ag retail, specialized fertilizers, industrial material sourcing and handling, as well as a robust transportation, warehousing, and logistics division. We strive to ensure a seamless product flow, effectively linking agricultural production with efficient distribution. Job Responsibilities Maintenance Operations: Conduct scheduled maintenance service and provide recommendations on current and future required repairs Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on Truck and Trailers Diagnose mechanical issues, and perform Trucks and Trailers repairs Examine and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, brake systems, wheels, steering mechanics, etc. Determine parts/materials needed for repairs. Identify equipment, and supplies to be used; transfer equipment from one project to another, as necessary Make recommendations related to the purchasing of necessary equipment and supplies for projects and repairs Construct mechanical equipment as required Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment. Achieve general housekeeping duties Perform road test vehicles as necessary to ensure the vehicle is working properly Ensure work orders are completed properly, accurately and meet deadlines. Keep a clear communication with customers regarding work progress Ensure all job duties are carried out according to Health and Safety policies and have safety awareness regarding other team members Keep technical knowledge up to date Other responsibilities assigned by Fleet Manager Maintenance Team: Work with other mechanics to contribute to positive work environment Provide training and coaching on a regular basis Assist with establishing goals and standards of performance of each team member Education/Experience: 3+ years experience as 310T Mechanic Licensed Mechanic 310T Truck and Coach Technician Valid Drivers Licensed Proficiency in all Office Software Why Choose Sylvite?
