Who We're Looking For

We need a hands-on technical leader to drive product delivery, manage a team of 5-10 developers, and set best practices. You'll mentor, clear roadblocks, oversee releases, and lead technical design while acting as the team's HR point of contact. If you thrive in strategy and execution, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help the development team deliver the product roadmap. Direct, control, evaluate, and contribute to the day-to-day product delivery
  • Deliver on features and set an example for the team
  • Clear roadblocks for the development team
  • Set, socialize and monitor the technical best practices for the team
  • Directly manage 5-10 reports on the product development team. Be their main HR point of contact, help to set and achieve goals, provide professional development coaching
  • Facilitate technical design and architecture sessions
  • Mentor and improve the skills of the development team, for example by teaching and providing direct feedback
  • Participate in hiring of new team members
  • Provide code reviews for team members, manage application releases

Skills and Requirements

  • Expert level knowledge of at least 1 programming language, 8+ years of experience in the tech industry releasing customer-facing software and applications
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical lead/manager
  • Proven experience delivering projects with Java Spring or Javascript and React
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies, browsers,
  • Comfortable working with modern deployment tools, such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with cloud deployment, Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills
