Teach Grades 8-12 Humanities through blended learning, combining online instruction with face-to-face teaching in North Vancouver. Use advanced educational technology to personalize student learning.
School District 71 seeks a temporary 0.8 FTE Blended Learning Teacher for Humanities. You will design and instruct secondary Humanities courses in an online learning environment. The work includes online and in-person collaboration with students, colleagues, and parents, supporting learning through tutorials and classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide face-to-face instruction at North Shore Academy
- Guide personalized online learning courses for students
- Develop and maintain advanced online Humanities curriculum
- Support blended learning in classrooms, centers, and tutorials
- Provide online and in-person tutorial support
Requirements:
- Training, certification, or experience teaching in online learning
- Secondary Humanities design and instruction experience
- Advanced learning management system classroom skills
- Advanced assessment for learning practices and documentation skills
- Experience with Brightspace, Zoom, and Teams
