Key Responsibilities
Design overhead infrastructure primarily and underground systems secondarily Analyze pole designs using SPIDAcalc and PLS-CADD Prepare comprehensive utility design and construction packages Fulfill Professional of Record responsibilities for engineered solutions Coordinate stakeholders through design, construction, and close-out
Requirements:
Canadian-accredited engineering degree or recognized equivalent Current Canadian Professional Engineer designation At least eight years designing BC Hydro distribution projects Experience with overhead and underground electrical design Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and pole analysis tools Apply distribution engineering, BC Hydro standards, technical leadership, and SPIDAcalc expertise to utility projects with Actalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
