Join Aspira Barrieview Retirement Living as the Director of Senior Wellness. Lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and enhancing the lives of residents daily. The Director of Senior Wellness is essential in managing the clinical team and ensuring residents receive personalized, high-quality care. You will oversee assessment processes, develop service plans, and engage in community outreach to promote wellness philosophies. Building professional relationships with healthcare partners is key in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan care for resident needs
- Direct interventions to prevent incidents and improve care
- Review care quality indicators for optimal results
- Lead recruitment, training, and staff performance
- Assist in departmental budgeting and monitoring
- Minimum three years’ experience in senior health
- Registered Practical Nurse with active standing
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven decision-making and risk assessment abilities
- Eligibility to work legally in Canada
