Join Davidson & Company as a Senior Accountant in the Public Company Audit Practice. This role offers exposure to diverse industries while working in downtown Vancouver. As a Senior Accountant, you will lead audit engagements across a variety of public companies. Your responsibilities include preparing accurate audit documentation, resolving complex financial reporting issues, and mentoring junior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality audit services and build trusted relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of audit engagements from planning to completion
- Prepare thorough and compliant audit documentation
- Research complex accounting issues like IFRS and US GAAP
- Act as the main contact for clients and provide solutions
- Mentor junior staff while collaborating with teams
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred
- 2–3 years of public audit experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with experience in CaseWare and MS Office
