Armour Transportation Systems seeks a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for part time weekend runs. You will complete regional stops, operate Class 1 vehicles, and communicate with dispatch and customers. The work includes freight handling, handheld scanning, documentation, and assigned vehicle upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries across regional stops
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely under applicable standards
- Load and unload freight carefully and accurately
- Complete documentation and scanning with handheld devices
- Communicate with dispatch and customers for timely service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 License and clean driver's abstract
- At least two years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience
- Strong knowledge of local and regional routes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Manual transmission experience preferred; freight handling is an asset
