Your role involves preparing competitive cost estimates, evaluating contracts, and negotiating with stakeholders to secure project opportunities. A strong understanding of construction methodologies and effective communication skills will position you for success in this dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead estimating processes for heavy civil projects
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender packages
  • Negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Analyze drawings and specifications for pricing strategy
  • Mentor junior estimators within the team
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
  • Proficiency in HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong skills in negotiation and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Greater Vancouver construction market
  • P.Eng. or AScT designation preferred
