This educator leads programs supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement child-care programs supporting holistic development
- Lead stories, songs, games, arts, music, and physical activities
- Maintain environments protecting children’s health and security
- Assess children and discuss progress with families and staff
- Observe learning concerns and prepare reports for parents
Requirements:
- Alberta Level 1 Child Development Certificate
- Valid Standard Child Care or Level C First Aid
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to lift children and equipment up to 50 pounds
