* on your behalf, based on the company’s safety and financial performance, at no cost to you.Prune trees to remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches to improve their structure, appearance, and safety.
* Ensure proper pruning techniques are followed to avoid damaging the tree.
* Work with tree-climbing techniques or aerial lifts for larger trees.
* Supervise arborist laborers or tree care crews during tree care projects.
* Coordinate and manage tasks on larger job sites, ensuring smooth operations and safe practices.
* Evaluate site conditions and recommend the best tree care practices for the location.
* Assume responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tools, trucks, and other work equipment.
* Requests repair or replacement of equipment when necessary.
* Maintain detailed records of tree care activities, including treatments, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
* Experience and Knowledge Expectations:* 2 years’ experience trimming/ pruning trees in a residential setting.
* Valid Class 5 driver’s license with less than 6 demerits; air brakes endorsement is considered an asset.
* Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies.
