Join Alberta Precision Laboratories as a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist in Olds. As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform vital procedures and collaborate within an inter-professional team. Your experience in hematology, chemistry, and X-ray examinations will be crucial as you prepare patients and maintain diagnostic equipment. This role requires providing quality patient care in a busy hospital environment, with responsibilities spanning days, evenings, and weekends. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory procedures and X-ray examinations
- Collect and analyze biological specimens
- Conduct ECGs and report findings
- Maintain equipment and manage supplies
- Execute quality control procedures as required
- Diploma in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology
- Active registration with Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists
- Recent experience in core laboratory procedures
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills
- Current phlebotomy experience and BLS certification
