Architectural design, drafting, and REVIT expertise define this full-time Designer contract in Edmonton. Coordinate approvals, drawings, permits, and construction support.
Brookfield Residential seeks a Designer for an 18-month contract supporting residential products and communities. The position combines CAD and REVIT production with architectural approvals, working drawings, and product enhancements. You will coordinate with Sales, Construction, Estimating, trade partners, suppliers, and the City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CAD and REVIT job files
- Complete working drawings for customer requests
- Apply for architectural approvals and building permits
- Review engineering, roof, and floor layouts
- Resolve onsite construction drawing issues
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in architectural technologies or related field
- Five or more years of industry experience
- Strong AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office proficiency
- Knowledge of building codes and government requirements
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
