Design intelligent building controls onsite in Coquitlam, using BAS programming and control algorithms to improve energy efficiency and indoor environments.
Automated Logic, a Carrier subsidiary, seeks an Associate Controls Designer for its engineering team. You will configure building automation systems, develop interfaces, and translate technical diagrams and operating sequences into working systems. The work supports smart, sustainable buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program building automation systems and control algorithms
- Create technical design documents for project teams
- Develop graphical and text-based system interfaces
- Test programming and interfaces before implementation
- Support functional testing and communicate project risks
Requirements:
- Onsite availability at offices in Coquitlam, British Columbia
- Required education and HVAC controls or BAS experience
- Knowledge of building automation software and engineering tools
- Experience with Automated Logic suites preferred
- Unrestricted authorization to work in Canada
