Drive package deliveries for UPS in Concord, Ontario, using strong customer contact, navigation, and defensive driving skills. This full-time position serves downtown and extended areas.
As a Package Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pick up packages while maintaining accurate delivery records. The work requires continual lifting, lowering, carrying, loading, and unloading. You will follow safe driving methods, navigate with maps, and meet UPS appearance guidelines. Monday-to-Friday or Tuesday-to-Saturday schedules begin at 9:00AM, with flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up packages efficiently
- Follow company safe and defensive driving methods
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Record and track delivered package information
- Maintain information about completed deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario G or higher driver’s license
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to read and navigate maps or map books
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
- Clean driver’s abstract meeting UPS requirements
