As an Associate Physician, you will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary team at Foothills Medical Centre. Your responsibilities include triaging, performing minor procedures, and collaborating closely with interventional radiologists and other medical specialists. This position is designed for internationally trained physicians seeking a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Support inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology services
- Perform minor image-guided procedures under supervision
- Triage and prepare patients for scheduled procedures
- Gather clinical information and manage patient records
- Participate in educational rounds and gain clinical exposure
- Medical degree from an approved international institution
- Completed one year of supervised postgraduate training
- Passed Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part I
- Eligible for registration under CPSA’s Limited Practice Registry
- Recent acute care experience is preferred
