As part of the Gold Fields team, the Communications Advisor will apply expertise to develop and implement communication strategies that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires drafting engaging content and working across various channels, ensuring compliance with communication standards and regulations. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact mining project in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive communication strategy for Canadian operations
- Create and manage content for newsletters, social media, and presentations
- Strengthen relationships with communication suppliers
- Ensure all messaging aligns with company values and guidelines
- Evaluate effectiveness of communication strategies through reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field
- Minimum five years of communications experience
- Fluent in English and French; Spanish is a plus
- Strong skills in media, analytics, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and exhibit leadership qualities
