Elevate your career as a Senior Financial Consolidation & Reporting Accountant with The Boyd Group in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role focuses on financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance to enhance accuracy and efficiency. In this position, you will report to the Manager – Corporate Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting, and directly influence internal and external financial statements. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing period-end reports, executing intercompany eliminations, and enhancing financial systems. You will also oversee internal controls compliance and maintain the Financial Data Model to align with IFRS standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate financial statements and trial balance
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
- Execute intercompany eliminations and journal entries
- Support ongoing accounting process improvements
- Manage GL structure for accurate financial data categorization
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive financial accounting experience
- CPA designation and advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong IFRS standards knowledge
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
