Seeking an enthusiastic Youth Mentor to provide virtual support to youth in Kimberley. In this role, you'll create meaningful connections and enable personal development, helping youth overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Your ability to communicate effectively and relate to adolescents is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor youth through individual goal-setting sessions
- Help youth cultivate valuable life skills, including communication
- Connect youth to important educational and vocational resources
- Serve as a positive role model demonstrating ethical behavior
- Facilitate ongoing virtual check-ins for progress monitoring
Requirements:
- Diploma in Youth Work, Social Sciences, or related area
- Experience in youth support or mentoring roles
- Proven relationship-building skills with young people
- Familiarity with adolescent development issues
- Skilled in virtual communication and record management
