Northern Lights College seeks a temporary, full-time Clinical Instructor for its Practical Nursing Program. You will integrate Access-level theory into practice with ageing clients and clients with chronic illness. The course emphasizes nursing care, wound care, organization, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver APN 136 Consolidated Practice Experience A
- Guide learners in residential care settings
- Teach medication administration and nursing care
- Support comprehensive health assessment and wound care
- Foster inquiry, reflection, and evidence-informed practice
Requirements:
- Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current unrestricted BC nursing license as LPN, RPN, RN, or NP
- Three to five years recent Canadian nursing experience
- Completed Indigenous cultural safety and humility coursework
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
