Description As the ideal candidate, you have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent for residential wood structure projects. You have proven expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards and regulations . Our residential condominium project, built with a concrete structure, is located on the South Shore of Montreal. Responsibilities Manage a project under the supervision of the Project Manager; Ensure that work is carried out efficiently, productively and safely; Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with the customer's plans and specifications; Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements; Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site; Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance; Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule; Follow up with the project manager to ensure that all required documents are up to date; Eliminate all deficiencies in order to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project; Manage material, equipment, labor and subcontracting requirements; Any other related tasks. Technical diploma in architecture (or building-related field) combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects, or professional diploma in a construction trade combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on residential CONCRETE projects; Basic computer skills (common tools and software) Autonomous and proactive Valid driver's license.
