Teach Mechanical Drafting at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus during the 2027 Winter Semester, using subject knowledge and communication skills.
This CUPE Teaching Assistant supports MCG1102, Section B, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The position assists Mohammed Yandouzi through labs, tutorials, student consultations, marking, and proctoring. Work is delivered in person and in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct labs and tutorials for Mechanical Drafting students
- Provide consultations to students throughout the course
- Mark student work as assigned by the supervisor
- Proctor the final examination
- Support the course supervisor with specified duties
Requirements:
- Successfully completed undergraduate mechanical courses
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Drafting subject matter
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability in person throughout the course session
- Availability to proctor the final exam
