*Job Summary* Job Summary: DJ Peat Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. is currently seeking skilled Flat Roofers to join our team. We are looking for individuals *with a minimum of 3 year of experience in flat roofing*; however, we are willingto provide training to the right candidates. A valid working at height certificate is considered an asset for this position. As a Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs according to industry standards and company guidelines. This is a full-time position with Monday to Friday work schedule, starting at 7 am (finish time may vary). Responsibilities: * Install, repair, and maintain various types of flat roofing systems. * Prepare roofs for installation by removing old roofing materials, cleaning the surface, and ensuring proper insulation and waterproofing. * Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific roof dimensions. * Apply roofing materials, including membranes, asphalt, and other coatings, using appropriate techniques and tools. * Install and seal roof flashing and other roof components. * Conduct inspections to identify and repair any leaks, damages, or potential issues with the roof. * Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following working at height regulations. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year of experience in flat roofing. * Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. * Valid working at height certificate is an asset. * Knowledge of different types of flat roofing systems and materials. * Familiarity with roofing tools and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Valid driver's license is preferred.
