Suncor seeks an experienced Specialist Drilling Engineer for operating and future SAGD areas. You will solve challenging technical problems, deliver recommendations, and support safe, efficient outcomes. The position includes technical leadership, project delivery, and mentoring engineers, with potential expansion into completions engineering responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver complex drilling engineering projects independentlyProvide expert analysis and recommendations for drilling studiesSolve complex problems using comparative technical analysisCoordinate projects and review deliverables for technical qualityMentor engineers and guide assigned project personnelRequirements: Engineering or Applied Science degree, with 12+ years’ experienceAdvanced engineering techniques and procedures competencyExperience across multiple projects or deep technical expertiseKnowledge of multiple engineering fields or supervisory experienceAbility to develop technology change management plansBring advanced drilling expertise, technical leadership, and sound engineering judgment to Suncor’s complex SAGD projects in Calgary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
