Natural gas marketing expertise drives this Calgary-based Marketing Representative position, focused on production communication, market analysis, and short-term trading. PETRONAS Canada seeks a Marketing Representative reporting to the Manager, Marketing. The role uses Alberta market knowledge, economic reasoning, business acumen, and critical thinking to optimize production positions. You will communicate market developments, maintain market data, and support scheduling and internal groups.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with production operations about current and expected production Form production optimization views using market and production information Trade short-term around production positions to generate P&L Coordinate market positions with the scheduling team Maintain market data, databases, and presentation materials

Requirements:

Post-secondary degree in business, economics, math, statistics, or engineering Five or more years in natural gas commercial or front-office roles Strong understanding of Alberta natural gas and NGTL markets Experience trading short-term physical gas in Alberta Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Apply Alberta natural gas trading, production analysis, and commercial judgment as PETRONAS Canada’s Calgary Marketing Representative.
