The Licensed Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager while acting as a business owner within the marketplace. This position combines team leadership, retail operations, sales performance, and patient-focused optical service. You will transfer business knowledge into results, guide team members, and use lens expertise to support vision needs and prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager and lead the team
- Drive key performance indicators, sales, conversion, and retention
- Train team members and provide constructive feedback
- Support recruiting, staffing, and talent development
- Dispense, adjust, repair, and measure eyewear accurately
Requirements:
- Current and valid Opticianry license
- High School graduation or equivalent
- One or more years supervising direct reports
- Knowledge of retail operations and processes
- Strong selling, math, computer, and problem-solving skills
