Support Lacombe growers with crop inputs, field scouting, and technical advice as a full-time Agro Advisor at Central Alberta Co-op.
Based at the Lacombe Agro Centre, this weekday position serves growers through product sales, crop solutions, and relationship building. You will manage pricing, competitive intelligence, sales, and inventory for crop protection products while supporting broader Agro lines. The role requires organized customer service and agricultural knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and superior service to Co-op guests
- Promote crop inputs, petroleum, bins, and equipment
- Conduct field scouting and relay findings
- Manage pricing, sales, inventory, and competitive intelligence
- Develop business relationships with current and potential customers
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in agriculture or related field
- One to three years of relevant agricultural experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- WHMIS and TDG certification or willingness to complete
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
