Drive financial excellence at barBURRITO as a Senior Accountant, focused on intricate accounting functions across multiple restaurant entities in Canada and the U.S. Your expertise will contribute to full-cycle accounting and payroll. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations within barBURRITO’s thriving environment. A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting is essential, alongside a strong grasp of full-cycle processes, financial reporting, and payroll compliance. You’ll tackle complex accounting challenges ensuring our operational integrity and success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle accounting across restaurant operations
- Generate monthly financial statements and do variance analysis
- Administer quarterly intercompany reconciliations
- Manage payroll functions and compliance accurately
- Facilitate year-end audit processes and documentation
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in QSR or retail
- In-depth knowledge of payroll and full-cycle accounting
- Expertise in financial statement preparation
- Strong detail orientation with Excel capabilities
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and project costing
