Join Trane Technologies as an Equipment Estimator in Laval. This onsite role focuses on technical selection, pricing, and supporting the equipment sales team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with customers, account managers, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution. Your responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, developing accurate cost estimates, and providing solutions for HVAC systems. Strong communication skills and familiarity with HVAC systems are essential as you contribute to impactful projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Review plans and develop cost estimates for projects
- Provide solutions for customer’s HVAC system design
- Determine project needs and constraints
- Coordinate pricing and selection of equipment
- Finalize and prepare proposals and equipment submittals
- Degree in estimation, mechanical systems, or engineering
- Experience in estimating or project management preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
