Drive financial planning and performance analysis with People Corporation in a hybrid Senior Financial Analyst role based in Calgary, Toronto, or Winnipeg. Transform financial data into decisions.
This senior finance role partners with business leaders and the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. You will manage monthly analysis, annual budgets, forecasts, revenue reporting, and commission calculations. Your work connects operational drivers with clear recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review monthly results and explain material revenue and expense variances
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, models, and performance commentary
- Calculate commissions and variable compensation accurately and timely
- Translate complex analysis into management presentations and recommendations
- Strengthen reporting processes, documentation, and financial controls
Requirements:
- Five or more years of progressive Finance or FP&A experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- Advanced Excel, modeling, large datasets, and strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong business judgment, communication, and analytical expertise
- CPA designation or active progress preferred; CFA or MBA considered an asset
