As a Payroll Analyst, you will engage with clients and payroll teams, ensuring precise payroll accounting and financial reporting. Your expertise in both Canadian and U.S. payroll processes will drive effective solutions while supporting audits and resolving discrepancies. This position emphasizes collaboration and communication to achieve optimal outcomes for your clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform payroll-to-General Ledger reconciliations for accurate financial reporting
- Analyze accounting issues and recommend effective resolutions
- Prepare bank and funding reconciliations to clear discrepancies
- Support audits by providing timely financial information
- Maintain documentation for consistent service delivery
- 1-3 years of payroll accounting experience in Canada and the U.S.
- Proficiency in Workday or similar payroll systems
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
