With a minimum of two years of experience, you'll address unsafe conditions and provide ground support in underground headings. Following strict safety protocols, you will work with equipment like scissor lifts as part of your daily duties. Effective communication and the ability to read mine specifications are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and rectify unsafe underground conditions
- Scale back walls to ensure safe operations
- Operate pneumatic drills for excavation
- Install various mining services accurately
- Collaborate closely with team and supervisors
- At least 2 years mining experience required
- Valid Ontario Hard Rock Miner certification
- Familiarity with WHMIS guidelines
- Skills in team collaboration and independent work
