This General Practitioner opportunity suits physicians planning a long-term move to Canada. The clinics provide assistants, support with electronic health records, and current equipment. Applications are considered from physicians trained in the United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, or Australasia. Alberta licensing updates may allow qualifying physicians to obtain full, unrestricted practice licenses without further examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practise family medicine in Edmonton or Calgary clinics
- Work within established clinics during regional expansion
- Use electronic health records with available support
- Work with assistants and clinic staff
- Provide medical care using current clinic equipment
Requirements:
- General Practitioner or Family Medicine Physician qualification
- United Kingdom training with CCT and MRCGP
- United States training with American Board Certification
- Ireland training with MICGP
- Australasia training with FRACGP
