Ensure the accuracy of financial data sent to the various levels of government (federal, provincial, NR) and external partners
Identify, analyse and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in collaboration with the teams concerned (Accounting, it, Operations)
Documenting reconciliation processes and recommending improvements to optimise the effectiveness and reliability of controls
Help implement or upgrade automated reconciliation tools
Produce follow-up and compliance reports for internal and regulatory reporting purposes
Perform advanced analyses and controls to ensure data integrity, validate the reliability of systems and compliance with reports
Diagnose complex problem situations, intervene by proposing strategies and ensuring that permanent corrective measures are put in place in order to ensure continuous improvement
Work with various it sectors for different applications (OSS T80, JAVA-DI, PCIs/CMOD, etc.) Initiate the actions to take and intervene with it partners and external service providers (Broadridge, DCM, SIS) to ensure that the production of slips by the various business lines is high-quality, compliant and on time
Intervene and monitor the resolution of incidents affecting tax slip platforms
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Canadian registered Tax Slip Management, you will be part of a team of 14 colleagues and play a key role in developing the sector's practises and quality.
This includes on-the-job learning, access to targeted training content, and collaboration with colleagues with a wide range of expertise and profiles. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
Reconciliation experience
Solid knowledge of tax slips and investment products
Excellent ability to use collaborative tools such as PowerBI, SharePoint, PowerApps, etc.
