Perform advanced heavy equipment repairs in Red Deer with Element Technical Services, using diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

This full-time Journeyman Mechanic role supports Element Technical Services Inc. and reports to the Shop Supervisor. You will maintain FRAC and COIL TUBING equipment, troubleshoot repairs, document inspections, and complete field work. The position requires independent task completion, strong communication, and guidance for department employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on FRAC and COIL TUBING equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot repairs on heavy equipment
  • Complete and document maintenance inspections within designated timelines
  • Record equipment deficiencies and complete paperwork efficiently
  • Perform remote and onsite repairs in all weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • HET Journeyman Certificate with CVIP license or ability to obtain
  • Diagnostic experience using strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
  • Strong computer skills with diagnostic software
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and satisfactory driving record
