- Analyze specimens microscopically to detect abnormalities
- Interpret diagnostic results for cancer and other diseases
- Work collaboratively with medical teams for patient care
- Ensure accurate and detailed reporting of findings
- Uphold laboratory protocols and standards
- Must have a Cytotechnology diploma
- Certification from Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science
- Registration with Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
