Develop business expertise with EMCO Corporation through a four-phase trainee program spanning warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and leadership. Build practical knowledge across Canada’s construction wholesale distribution business.
As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will learn every aspect of EMCO’s business through progressive assignments. The program covers shipping and receiving, counter support, customer problem solving, procurement, account management, proactive sales, leadership, and operations. You will develop customer and vendor relationships while supporting business growth and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn warehousing, shipping, receiving, and counter support procedures
- Solve customer problems and build customer and vendor relationships
- Support procurement and provide world class customer service
- Develop business through sourcing sales and expanding customer relationships
- Support teams through coaching, mentoring, vision, and strategy
Requirements:
- College and/or University degree
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills for customer and vendor relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Results oriented mindset, integrity, and strong work ethic
