General Ledger Accountant expertise in reconciliations and monthly close supports Corby and Hiram Walker’s North America Accounting team with flexible hybrid work.
This accountant prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, and supports reporting across multiple entities. The position contributes to financial controls, VAT filings, and continuous improvement. CPA completion or active progress is required, alongside accounting experience and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries for monthly close activities
- Complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
- Record transactions, billings, purchases, and inventory activity
- Prepare VAT filings and support tax reporting
- Analyze financial information and provide variance reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation completed or actively in progress
- Two to four years of similar accounting experience
- Knowledge of principles, reporting, and internal controls
- Microsoft Office proficiency and reconciliation experience
