Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver seeks a Configuration Management Lead to enhance data governance in shipbuilding projects. This managerial role is focused on on-site leadership and compliance. As the Configuration & Data Management Manager, you will cultivate and guide a specialized engineering team to ensure effective configuration management. Partnering with diverse teams, you will oversee critical audits, implement governance processes, and drive technical improvements for a seamless operation in vessel construction. This pivotal role will enhance organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policies, standards, and Configuration Management Plan
- Conduct configuration audits to uphold compliance
- Maintain Configuration Management tools and systems
- Drive digital transformation for configuration control
- Build and manage effective team strategies and development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in marine design leadership
- Strong understanding of configuration standards
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance
