Lead recruitment and payroll for Brilliant Harvest from Western Canada, with in-person Calgary work every two months for several days. Build dependable HR operations.
As an HR Generalist reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager, you will build and run the HR function. Your scope includes full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, benefits, and compliance. You will support managers and employees through performance, growth, and difficult conversations while maintaining HR systems and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruitment and manage multiple vacancies
- Deliver onboarding and manage the talent lifecycle
- Process bi-weekly payroll, bonuses, deductions, and tax reports
- Support performance reviews, coaching, conflict resolution, and exits
- Administer benefits, WCB, safety, privacy, and HR policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Full-cycle recruitment and payroll administration experience
- Knowledge of Alberta employment, OHS, WCB, human rights, and privacy legislation
- HRIS and payroll systems experience with strong judgment
