This full-time, permanent HVAC Refrigeration Technician role supports custom-built air handling units. Mafna serves clients across Canada, the United States, and overseas. You will install, assemble, service, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment while coordinating with engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble industrial and commercial HVAC systems
- Service refrigeration equipment used in air handling units
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and handle refrigerants safely
- Coordinate integration testing and maintain service records
Requirements:
- Minimum five years’ HVAC or refrigeration installation experience
- HVAC Certification or 313A Trade License asset
- Understanding of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver’s license and job-site travel availability
