Support Statistics for Management students at the University of Ottawa through problem solving, grading, and in-person instruction at Main Campus. Work in English.
This Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator position serves ADM2303 during the 2027 Winter Semester at Telfer School of Management. The work includes weekly problem solving sessions, assignment and midterm marking, student questions, feedback, and exam proctoring. Synchronous sessions with the professor and online delivery training are included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present weekly Statistics for Management problem solving sessions
- Mark assignments and the midterm using grading rubrics
- Respond to course questions on a digital forum
- Provide midterm feedback and explain statistical results clearly
- Proctor examinations and attend synchronous professor sessions
Requirements:
- Minimum C.G.P.A. of 8.0
- Minimum A- grades in ADM 2303 and ADM 2304
- Demonstrated knowledge of Minitab software
- Strong statistical concepts and problem solving accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently
