Join the team at St. Paul's Hospital as a casual Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist in Vancouver. Specialize in both diagnostic and interventional procedures in a dynamic cardiac lab environment. This role, under the direction of Cardiologists, involves performing various cardiovascular procedures as well as maintaining equipment and supplies. You will contribute to team collaborations and actively engage in quality control within the catheterization labs. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Conduct quality control for imaging equipment
- Prepare workspaces and set up necessary equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Document patient and procedural data accurately
- Graduation from a recognized medical imaging school
- Two years of recent related experience
- Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
