Teach Kindergarten at Barrhaven Public School using Primary qualifications and FSL Part 1. This contract schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board seeks a committed teacher for its Kindergarten to Grade 6 school. The position supports inclusive learning, student achievement, and well-being within Early French Immersion, Middle French Immersion, and Regular English programs. Collaboration and respectful communication are central to the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support student success, achievement, and well-being
- Create a positive, inclusive school climate
- Work collaboratively with staff and school community
- Foster safe and respectful learning environments
- Meet individual student needs through teaching practice
Requirements:
- Required OCT Primary divisional qualifications
- Required OCT FSL Part 1 additional qualification
- Kindergarten qualifications considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully
Bring Primary qualifications, FSL Part 1, and collaborative teaching practice to Kindergarten students at Barrhaven Public School.
