Canon Canada seeks a Service Technician to install, relocate, deinstall, and maintain complex printer solutions. You will service printers, pre- and post-equipment, and software at customer sites or across the region. The work emphasizes analytical troubleshooting, customer satisfaction, Service Level Agreements, and current technical knowledge of PPS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform corrective and preventative printer systems maintenance
- Install, deinstall, and relocate equipment at customer sites
- Maintain customer satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements
- Escalate unresolved problems through predefined procedures
- Maintain parts inventory, diagnostic, and physical tools
Requirements:
- Electrical or mechanical degree, vocational, or technical school education
- Mechanical inclination and technical service experience
- Strong analytical skills for equipment troubleshooting
- Basic computer, technical, and equipment operation skills
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 schedules and travel occasionally
Support Canon Canada customers across Ottawa through printer maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and dependable technical service delivery.
