As a key member of the ALSS Division, you'll coordinate truck shipments throughout Canada and the U.S. With over five years of experience in freight brokerage or third-party logistics, you will source and manage third-party carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure profitable transactions. This role demands excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to resolve transportation issues independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate customer truck shipments across Canada and the U.S.
- Source and maintain relationships with third-party carriers
- Track and trace shipments, communicating updates effectively
- Resolve transportation-related issues and assist with freight claims
- Maintain accurate shipment information in the TMS
- Post-secondary education in Logistics or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in trucking or freight brokerage
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics
- Proficiency in TMS and Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
